Data controller
The data controller is MareSante Mental Helse AS, org. no. 933 066 894, Meltzersgate 4, 0257 Oslo. Contact: maresante.mental@gmail.com.
What data we process
We process contact information (name, email, phone), the content of enquiries you send us, technical data necessary for the website to function, and, for patients, clinical records necessary for safe follow-up care.
Enquiries sent by email, WhatsApp, or contact form should not contain sensitive health information. Such information belongs in consultation and the clinical record, not in open messaging channels.
Purpose and legal basis
Personal data is processed to respond to enquiries, schedule consultations, administer payment, and deliver healthcare. The legal basis is consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)), necessity for the provision of healthcare (art. 9(2)(h)), and legal obligations under Norwegian health legislation.
Confidentiality and patient records
As healthcare personnel, the clinician is bound by professional confidentiality. Patient information is recorded according to applicable Norwegian health legislation and kept separate from general website enquiries and marketing data.
Storage and security
Patient records are kept in a journal system intended to meet Norwegian information-security requirements. Website enquiries are not retained longer than necessary to respond and follow up practical appointments.
Processors and third parties
The clinic may use external providers for technical operations, maps, email/communication, payment, and patient records. This may include Google Maps for maps, WhatsApp/email for simple contact, and payment solutions such as MediPay/Payex where used.
Optional analytics are loaded only after consent if analytics tools are enabled. reCAPTCHA or similar bot protection is described and activated only if actually in use.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, and data portability under the GDPR. Clinical records are also subject to special rules under healthcare legislation. Privacy complaints can be addressed to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (datatilsynet.no).
Cookies
The website uses strictly necessary cookies for it to function. Optional analytics cookies are loaded only after you have given active consent in the consent banner.
You can withdraw consent at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. Your choice is stored locally in your browser for up to six months before we ask again.
